July Sky

As the raspberries thirst, my heart also yearns. But relief could be any morning or afternoon. Yet evening sky just teases in its beauty.

Azure match to many shades of gray
Hues highlighted white and silver striped
A hint of pink and golden glow --
July sky still tries
To speak sweet joy,
but lies of rain.
